The works comprises of the construction of a bridge and creation of a canal section to allow navigation of the River Finn from Upper Lough Erne, Co Fermanagh to Castlesaunderson, Co. Cavan.

The existing road will need realigned to accommodate the new bridge, various temporary works will be required to maintain access to the island as the project is carried out.
